In 2013 the SCI movement decided to answer the call for climate justice and the Create a Climate for Peace Campaign was born. The campaign aimed at making the climate justice dimension mainstream in SCI activities and through this make SCI a meaningful and active part of the solution to the multidimensional climate crisis! These aims are now being evaluated so we can know better how to plan for the future. SCI branches and activists continue to support impacted and frontline communities, and carry out educational activities, bringing real change to our local communities. The activities are brought under the Climate for Peace Programme.
