Under the C4P campaign of SCI, SCI BD has organized a Workcamp with river erosion community from 20-31 July 2017 at Shibchar, Madaripur. Total 18 volunteers and local youth participated in the camp.

Volunteers were planted trees in the community located bank of the river Arialkha (one of the big river in Bangladesh) and the bank of the Padmariver (the largest river in Bangladesh). These communities have been affected from river erosions. Along with the local communities, especially the youth of the said locality SCI volunteers planted 200 trees during the project period. We have chosen for plantation those trees that have protected land from river erosion and also have food value of the trees.
